Elite Lighting Concepts began as a landscape company in 2013 and over the years has added services to provide to our clients. The owners, Felix and Mary Garcia, have combined expertise in sales, marketing, electrical, remodeling and construction, roofing and community development. The Garcia’s started this business, in addition to their full time jobs in engineering and human resources, as a way to put their experience in action.
Our Team
Felix Garcia
Felix Garcia was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He has a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He has experience in all aspects of construction and has his certification in outdoor and low voltage lighting. Felix served in the military for 13 years and did one tour of duty in Iraq. Felix is a father of four and currently resides in North Fort Worth.
Felix started his landscape business in 2010 and added holiday lighting shortly afterwards. Felix has been installing holiday lighting for over 12 years and has gradually added a variety of products and services. In 2022, he decided to solely focus on outdoor, event, holiday and permanent lighting.
Mary Garcia
Mary is an accomplished people and culture leader with recognized expertise in talent research and sourcing, diversity and inclusion strategy and consulting, talent management solutions, operations optimization, and talent acquisition. She is experienced in developing strategies, driving change, managing through ambiguity, building trust and gaining the confidence of key internal and external business partners. Mary is dedicated to fostering equity, access and opportunities that allow employees to achieve their full potential and an organization to amplify its mission.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Texas Woman’s University. She also received her Executive Education Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University and earned her certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida-Muma College of Business.
She is currently involved in the community by serving on the Keller ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors, State delegate for the Texas Democratic State Convention, Founding Member of Hacking HR’s Expert Council, Member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee for Traverse Connect, Member of the Human Relations Commission – City of Fort Worth Mayor's Committee on Persons with Disabilities, DEI Network for Business Leaders for Michigan, and DEI Connect Leaders committee for the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce.
